“I disagree with my parents’ sentence” – Ekweremadu’s daughter says

The daughter of former Deputy Senate President of Nigeria, Ike Ekweremadu, Sonia has condemned the sentence of his parents.

During an interview with BBC, Sonia disclosed that her parent’s arrest came as a shock to her. Adding that she disagrees with the sentence of her parents.

Sonia further disclosed and also admitted that she will be biased in such a situation because she will always be on her parents’ side.

Speaking about her kidney problem, Sonia disclosed that she has lymphatic syndrome. However, she was not involved in the search for a kidney. She further added that she has gotten so many donors after the case got to public space.

Recall that earlier today, reports came in that the former Deputy Senate President of Nigeria, Ike Ekweremadu, and his other accomplices were sentenced to nine years and eight months imprisonment for plotting to harvest a man’s kidney, along with his wife, Beatrice, who was also sentenced to four years and six months imprisonment.
