“I didn’t know”- Man cries out, shares what fuel attendant did to him over ₦20,000 fuel
A man has shared heartbreaking encounter while purchasing ₦20,000 worth of fuel from a filling station.
In a now-viral video posted on X (formerly Twitter), the man, who wore a meta glass, was aware of what transpired, unknown to the fuel attendant.
Man Cries Out
The video captures the moment the fuel attendant sets the dispenser to ₦5,500 as the man makes payment through a point of sale (POS) machine.
In a surprising twist, the man insisted the fuel should be returned and demanded a refund.
However, after showing them a video of what transpired while paying for the fuel, they apologized to him.
During the argument , the man insisted on seeing the filling station manager stating, “No one called my attention, how can I be paying and I’m looking back someone is already pouring fuel“.
The incident comes amid the ongoing fuel price hike in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Dangote Refinery has raised its gantry price for PMS to N1,175 per litre, pushing retail prices above N1,200 per litre.

Royal stated,”If the fuel station starts introducing self-service where you have to use your card before you use the nozzle to serve yourself, they will say that it’s selfishness because a lot of people will be out of a job”.
