“I begged him for £20, he said no… but sent another girl £200” – Man expresses pain over friend’s betrayal
A man has sparked reactions online after calling out what he described as double standards in how some men spend money on women.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), he explained that someone he once asked for financial help refused to assist him but later sent a much larger amount to a woman simply because he found her attractive.
“The same guy I asked for £20 last year when I was really down bad sent a girl £200 just for being beautiful. I asked you for £20 and you said no, but you sent £200 to another girl,” he said.
He explained that the situation made him understand why many women raise their standards when it comes to relationships and financial expectations.
According to him, some men freely give out money when they are interested in a woman, even without being asked, which influences how women approach dating.
“That’s why I don’t have an issue with women raising their standards, because you people are literally giving these girls money for free. Anyway, it’s your money, bro,” he added.
Many reactions have followed his outburst.
