“I became depressed”- Lady shares DM from Charles Okocha in 2025
A yet-to-be-identified Nigerian lady has shared a Direct Message (DM) received from Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha on Instagram in 2025, which left her emotionally distressed.
In a widely circulated video, the lady disclosed that she received a DM from the actor on August 2, 2025.

Lady Reveals DM From Charles Okocha
According to the lady, she received a comment from the actor describing her as an ugly moron.
Initially, she assumed it was a parody account until she realized it was from the actor’s verified Instagram account.
The lady emphasized that she has never trolled anyone online due to her decent upbringing.
”I don’t insult people. My parents raised me well. I don’t insult elders”,She added.
Lady Gets Surprised By DM
Due to the comment, she became depressed, highlighting the emotional turmoil it caused her.
Although she responded to the actor’s comment, he didn’t reply despite seeing it.
”At some point I became depressed. I became emotionally down and started thinking.He saw the messages but he didn’t reply me”, She stated.
Earlier, GistReel reported that Charles Okocha received a surprise cash gift of $50,000 from billionaire businessman, Tony Elumelu during a visit to Elumelu’s office in Lagos.
The moment was captured in a video Okocha posted himself on Instagram with the caption “SANTA ELUMELU!!!! 50K USD God bless you my Mentor!!”
