“I barked like a dog when my father tried to marry me off to a 63-year-old” — Lady recalls shocking proposal

A 25-year-old lady has captured online attention after sharing her shocking reaction to her father’s attempt to marry her off to a 63-year-old man.

She revealed that while she had a boyfriend she loved, her father insisted she accept the older man because he was “responsible and wealthy.”

“I barked like a dog to chase the man away”

Recounting the incident, the lady said, “When I arrived at the man’s house, he was wearing a robe. As he started talking about marriage and respect, he moved closer and tried to kiss me. I don’t know what came over me, but I stood up, bent my neck, and started barking loudly like a dog, just like my sister and I used to do when we were kids. I even spat a little as I moved around the room.”

She added, “The man screamed and ran out, shaking and sweating. I asked my father if he thought I had done anything wrong, and he said I was being dramatic. The suitor then decided he was no longer interested in marrying me.”
