“Husband easy to find, girls of today are just being too picky” – Nigerian lady says

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share her advice for single ladies on how to find a husband, amid their growing frustrations over the difficulty of finding genuine, marriage-ready men.
The post, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @Janefrances_Al, quickly went viral, sparking widespread reaction online.
Husbands Are Not Hard to Find
In her viral post, the lady insisted that “husband is very easy to get,” arguing that men are easy to find, but women of this generation make things difficult by being overly selective.
Sacrifices and Tolerance
She advised that women should maintain a thriving career while performing traditional roles in marriage, including providing for and taking care of their husbands.
She also encouraged tolerance of certain behaviors, even when a husband shows interest in other women, suggesting that confrontation should be avoided:
Focus on Career and Independence
The social media user stressed the importance of financial stability, urging women to maintain a thriving career.
She suggested that independence not only boosts confidence but also positions women to make better choices when selecting a partner.
Respecting Tradition and Sacrifice
According to her, many women today expect more than what their mothers and aunts endured.
She argued that embracing the traditional roles of wifehood, showing dedication, and making sacrifices could increase the chances of securing a marriage-ready husband.
In her words:
“Husband is very easy to get, it is the girls of this days who are being picky!!!
If not, it’s very easy to get a husband. All you need do is have a thriving career, then choose from the crowd in Nigeria a man to house him, feed him, take care of him, and perform all your duties as a wife.
It doesn’t end there. When he starts wandering, or his eyes start lingering, you either befriend all the women in a calm manner, don’t complain, don’t argue, or better yet, you turn a blind eye when a man whom you are housing, clothing, and providing for is reciprocating your kind deeds with lust.
So like I said, men are very easy to get. It is just this generation of women who dare think that they deserve better than what their mothers and aunts endured with grace.”
