“How’s this road worthy” – Nigerians fume over state of rickety ‘Danfo’ bus carrying passengers in Lagos
Nigerians have expressed concern over the condition of a visibly dilapidated commercial bus seen carrying passengers on a road in Lagos.
A video circulating on social media showed the old yellow “Danfo” bus with a severely damaged body. The driver’s side of the vehicle appeared to be completely broken off at the roof, leaving the bus without a proper driver’s door.

Despite its visibly poor condition, several passengers were seen packed inside the vehicle as it operated on the road.
The footage has sparked outrage among social media users, with many questioning how the vehicle was allowed to operate and whether it had passed the necessary roadworthiness checks.
Some Nigerians also expressed concern over the safety of both the passengers and driver, given the extent of the damage visible on the bus.
