The African Democratic Congress has launched a free nationwide online membership registration process, introducing a new digital portal as part of its preparations for the 2027 general elections.

To be eligible for ADC membership registration, individuals must meet the following criteria:

  • A valid National Identification Number (NIN) is necessary to complete the registration process.
  • Registration Category: Select either Party Membership or Support Group.
  • Compliance with the Electoral Act 2026: Ensure that all membership information is accurately recorded and validated in the ADC’s official digital register.
  • Revalidation: Members who previously registered on the old platform must revalidate their membership on the new digital portal.
  • Support Groups and Associations: They are also urged to register and go through the onboarding process.

The ADC’s online membership registration platform is intended to ensure that only persons whose membership information is completely captured and validated in the party’s official digital register are eligible to vote or be voted for in the party’s primary elections. This platform is critical for the party’s presentation at the 2027 general election, as well as its different congresses and conventions.
