How God used stranger to save me from kidnappers in Lagos — Lady shares

A Nigerian lady has recounted how a stranger’s warning on a bus allegedly saved her from falling into the hands of suspected kidnappers during a trip to Lagos for a supposed job interview.
The lady explained that the incident happened while she was travelling from Ibadan to Lagos in search of better employment before completing her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Journey to Lagos for Interview
According to her, she had been aggressively searching for better job opportunities and had submitted applications to several companies.
One of the companies later responded with what appeared to be an attractive job offer and invited her for an interview in Lagos.
She said she left Ibadan early that morning and boarded a bus heading to Lagos for the interview.
However, during the journey, she began to feel strangely uncomfortable.
She explained that although she could not clearly describe the feeling, something within her body did not feel right. Despite the uneasiness, she continued the trip.
Passenger’s Warning Raises Alarm
As the bus approached its final stop, she decided to ask the driver for directions to the area where the interview was scheduled to take place.
Suddenly, one of the passengers on the bus shouted, “Don’t go there!”
The passenger explained that his cousin had gone for a job interview in the same area the previous week and had not returned since. He added that their family had already started tracking the people responsible.
Quick Decision to Return to Ibadan
The warning immediately alarmed the lady.
She said she quickly thanked the stranger for the information and decided not to continue with the journey.
Instead, she got down from the bus and boarded another one heading straight back to Ibadan.
Online Research Reveals Alleged Scam
When she returned home, she decided to carry out proper research on the company that had invited her for the interview.
According to her, the company had already been labelled online as scammers and kidnappers targeting unsuspecting job seekers.
Reflecting on the experience, she described the incident as a miracle she still cannot explain.
She also advised people to always verify job interviews before travelling, warning that not every opportunity presented is genuine.
