A man in Abuja was left in disbelief after a young woman, identified as Precious Chinyere, allegedly fled with his car and personal belongings following a hotel stay in the Asokoro district on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
According to sources, the man had invited Precious for a short stay at a local hotel, but things took an unexpected turn in the evening when she reportedly left the room without informing him. Among the items missing were his vehicle, phones, a laptop, and other valuables.
Romantic stay ends in alleged theft
The following morning, the man reported the incident to the police. SP Josephine Adeh, spokesperson for the Abuja Police Command, confirmed that the matter is under investigation.
She stated that efforts are being made to locate the suspect and recover the stolen property.
