“His friend refused”- Man buys 2 plot of land for N1.5M in 2024, friend insists on sale

‎A user on the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter) has gone viral after sharing the amount his brother spent on purchasing two  plots of land.

‎The X user, @honestarsenalF, disclosed that his brother bought the plots of land from a colleague in 2024.

‎According to the X user, the 2 plots of land were valued at ₦1.8 million, but his brother paid ₦1.5 million to the colleague.

‎In a U-turn of events, the colleague was sacked last year over a misunderstanding with the manager.

However, the colleague informed his brother about a buyer interested in purchasing the land for ₦6 million, which he declined, revealing plans to build a house on the land.

The X user shared that his brother initially thought it was because of a ₦300k debt since 2024, but eventually borrowed the money and offered it to the colleague, who rejected it.

“However, his friend refused to collect it and said it’s not about the ₦300k , he just wants my brother to sell the land so he could gain more. He keeps pestering him to sell and still refuses to collect the remaining balance”,The tweet reads in part.

However, the colleague’s identity wasn’t disclosed in the now-viral tweet, which has surpassed 250,000 views.
