Helicopter crash-lands near restaurant

A helicopter crash-landed near a waterfront restaurant in St. Clair County, Michigan, on Sunday, June 22, 2025.

According to sources, the incident occurred at Cabana Blue in Clay Township, after a privately owned helicopter attempted to land on a vacant lot adjacent to the restaurant along Anchor Bay.

However, no injuries were reported, and an investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.

Recall that a devastating tragedy recently struck the aviation industry following a catastrophic plane crash in India on June 12, 2025, resulting in 241 fatalities.

The crash left only one sole survivor, who has been discharged from the hospital.
