Heartwarming moment as abroad-based woman kneels with children to appreciate her hardworking husband
A Nigerian woman based abroad has sparked appraisal online after sharing an emotional tribute to her supportive and hardworking husband.
In a viral video circulating on X (formerly Twitter), she revealed the sacrifices he makes daily for the family, despite working long hours.
In her words, she said:
“Daddy goes to work for five nights and only sleeps at home for two nights. When he comes back, he still takes Chinedu to school as early as 8am. He doesn’t rest and still manages to stay away till 12pm, just to take him.”
Even when he returns home, he doesn’t take time to rest.
By 3pm, he still goes back to pick the children from school, showers and feeds them, and ensures everything is in order before getting ready for work again.
He spends 12 hours at work, from 7pm to 7am, yet continues to do everything for his family happily and without complaints.
He doesn’t visit friends, and no one has ever knocked on their door as his friends.
“When he comes back to stay with us, he doesn’t get any sleep, but at 3pm he still goes to your school to pick you up.
He showers and feeds us, and as soon as he finishes, he goes to dress up for work. Daddy will lay down his life for all of us without thinking twice,” she added.
The woman also shared a particularly emotional moment from 2023, when the person sponsoring them legally in the country had their license revoked, leaving the family in a precarious position.
Netizens have been moved by her post, praising her father’s sacrifices and unconditional love. Many called him a “real-life hero” and “an example of dedication and selflessness.”
