“He would have been cancelled” – Daddy Freeze speaks on alleged Chike, Frank Edoho ex-wife scandal

Media personality Daddy Freeze has reacted to the alleged cheating scandal involving singer Chike and the ex-wife of broadcaster Frank Edoho.

Speaking during an Instagram live session, he shared his thoughts on how society allegedly reacts differently when men and women are accused of cheating in marriage.

“Years ago, when a married man cheats, it is often overlooked, it’s no big deal. But when a married woman cheats, it is her mother they will call and ask why she is disgracing the family,” he said.

He further claimed that public perception around the controversy has shifted rapidly, especially following old comments made by Frank Edoho on a podcast.

Daddy Freeze also alleged that if the matter eventually gets to court, certain evidence could reportedly favour Frank Edoho in the case.

“In 2016, Chike would never have been able to sell another album in Nigeria. If Frank Edoho presents those voice notes in court, Frank Edoho will win the case.

“Frank Edoho was loved until few days ago just because of a comment he made on a podcast many years ago,” he added.

The comments have sparked reactions online, with social media users debating double standards in relationships, infidelity, and public opinion.
