“He told me to write 250 words for…” – Lady recalls the stupid things she once did for a man she loved

A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after sharing the extreme things she once did in a past relationship, all in the name of love.

In a viral video shared on TikTok, she revealed how her ex-boyfriend allegedly told her to write a 250-word apology letter just because she missed his call once.

Shockingly, she actually wrote it.

In her words, she said:

“If you ever feel stupid, just know that me, I used to be with a guy that because I missed his call just once, he told me to write an apology letter on a paper, 250 words. Yeah, because I missed his call once. And guess what? I wrote the letter. I did.”

She explained that the letter wasn’t a few lines, but a carefully written apology, trying to prove she was truly sorry, even though she now sees it was unnecessary.

The lady added that her efforts didn’t stop there.

Despite having a washing machine in her father’s house, she would go to his place to wash his jeans and clothes with her bare hands.

She cooked for him and did countless things willingly, believing that was what love demanded.

“The first sentence I wrote was, ‘I’m not writing this letter because you asked me to write it. I’m writing this letter because I’m really sorry for not picking your call.’ I actually wrote like 200 words. I did all those stupid things for love,” she added.

Social media users have reacted strongly. One user wrote, “Love will humble you eh. Thank God for growth because what is this? Another commented, “250 words ke? Is it WAEC exam?
