“He refused to believe me”- Lady shares amount her man sent for purchasing food items

‎A lady’s post about the amount her man sent for the purchase of food items has left social media buzzing.

The lady, @justmercy on X (formerly Twitter), shared that her man, who works in Ghana, sent her ₦3 million to purchase food items.

‎According to the X user, she purchased numerous  groceries and vital household items.

‎Upon arriving home, she took a photo of every item she purchased and sent it to him online.

‎In a dramatic turn of events, he got annoyed and demanded a refund of the money sent for purchasing food items.

‎”When I got home, I took pictures of everything and sent them to him, showing him what the money was able to get. I even had to add some of my own money to buy a few extra things. I tried to explain that food prices in Nigeria have gone up a lot, but he refused to believe me and is now demanding that I refund his money”, The tweet reads.

Meanwhile, the tweet, which has garnered over 300,000 views, has been flooded with reactions from X users.
