“He knows he wouldn’t walk out freely”- Verydarkman reacts to Nnamdi Kanu’s sentencing
Controversial critic, Verydarkman has reacted to the sentencing of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, describing it as a distraction.
GistReel reported that the Federal High Court in Abuja sentenced Nnamdi Kanu to life imprisonment for terrorism, with an additional 20‑year term on one count and a five‑year term on another, all to run concurrently.
Verydarkman Reacts To Nnamdi Kanu’s Sentencing
In a video posted online, Verydarkman claimed that the Nnamdi Kanu sentencing is a distraction from the insecurity and terrorism ongoing in Nigeria.
According to him, the sentencing would create division in the country, and Nnamdi Kanu would not have been able to walk freely from the trial.
He also urged President Bola Tinubu to bring back the abducted Kebbi girls, eradicate terrorism in Nigeria or resign.
”If you cannot stop the terrorism in Nigeria and play the role of Commander‑in‑Chief of the Armed Forces, then you should resign,” He firmly stated.
Meanwhile, abductors of the 38 worshippers taken during the Kwara church attack have reportedly demanded 100 million naira per ransom.
It would be recalled that the incident occured on November 18, 2025 after heavily armed gunmen stormed the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, killing three worshippers and abducting the pastor along with several other congregants
