“He has ordered that I should be arrested before Monday” – Regina Daniels’ mother cries out
Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita Daniels, has cried out on social media, alleging that her daughter’s estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has ordered her arrest before Monday.
In a now-deleted post that went viral, Rita claimed the billionaire lawmaker had given an instruction for her to be picked up by security operatives.
“Ned has issued an arrest warrant against me. I should be arrested on or before Monday,” she wrote.
Her post has stirred concern and outrage among fans and followers, who flooded the internet with messages of support.
Sammy West’s Arrest Sparks Outrage
Rita’s outcry comes just days after Regina’s younger brother, Sammy West, was reportedly arrested in Lagos and flown to Abuja under Ned Nwoko’s alleged orders.
According to Regina’s elder brother, Sweezy, Sammy has been denied food, water, and access to legal counsel, leaving the family deeply worried about his condition.
The Daniels family believes the arrest is part of a wider effort to pressure Regina into returning to her husband’s home.
Regina Daniels Opens Up on Emotional Breakdown
The actress lamented the alleged misuse of power in her situation, saying she once respected the Nigerian police but no longer feels the same after witnessing the handling of her brother’s case.
“Sammy’s only offence was standing up for me when I needed protection,” she said. “I’m emotionally crippled and drained by everything happening. I once respected the system, but I no longer do.”
As of the time of filing this report, neither Ned Nwoko nor his representatives have issued an official statement addressing Rita Daniels’ claims or Sammy West’s reported detention.
