“He caught me”- Lady opens up on childhood experience
A Nigerian lady has opened up about a traumatizing childhood experience that has gone viral online.
The lady, identified as @AdageorgeA on the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter), shared that she had an encounter with her father, who caught her watching TV around 2am.

According to the X user, after her father caught her, he joined her in watching TV until 7am and immediately asked her to prepare for school.
However, he informed her teachers that if she slept in class, he would beat her.
In her tweet, which has garnered 7.3 million views, the lady shared that her father beat her once a year.

When my dad caught me watching movie at 2am, Sunday night.
He asked me to continue and he sat down with me until 7am. He asked me to prepare for school like that and he said if the teachers called that I slept in the class. He will beat me.That’s how he does. He won’t beat you.He beat once in a year.
