“He asked for….”- Lady shares why man who credited her ₦500K requested for refund

‎A Nigerian lady on the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter) has shared why a man who sent her ₦500,000 requested a refund.

‎The lady, identified as @raesparkles on X, shared that the guy reached out to her via direct message (DM) about going on a date.

‎ According to the lady, she initially declined the guy’s date request, but he requested her account details and credited her with ₦500,000, leaving her surprised and excited.

‎She visited him to express gratitude, and he asked about meeting up, but she said she wasn’t interested, leading to his refund request.

‎Last week, a guy DMed me on X telling me he would like to meet me and that we should go on date. I told him at first that I’m not interested in meeting up but later told him let’s see how it goes. He asked for my account details and sent me 500k on Thursday.

‎I was so happy and surprised, I went to thank him immediately, on Friday I also thanked him. Now he’s asking when are we meeting up and I told him I don’t think I would be chanced, he then said I should return the money he sent. Did I beg him to send it in the first place???

‎To think I have already thanked him. I gave him “thank you” is that not enough???.

‎Meanwhile, her tweet, which has garned over 50,000 views has sparked a reactions from X users.
