Gunmen kidnaps popular native doctor, kills bodyguards
A popular native doctor identified as Tiwaraki, has been reported kidnapped by gunmen who shot dead his bodyguards from his hotel.
The native doctor from Akwa, who is regarded as one of the most powerful witch doctors in Anambra, was kidnapped in his Triple O Hotel with ease and had two of his personal assistants shot dead.
Also recognized as the wealthiest witch doctor in Anambra State is Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki.
The two hotels he built and opened in 2022 are thought to be the largest in Oba, the hometown of well-known businessman Obi Cubana.
His supposed strength has been called into question by how easily he was abducted, as many people are said to have flocked to his estate in Oba for money rituals and anti-bullet charms.
He has also repeatedly bragged about his strength in the past about how strong his charms are. The police have acknowledged his kidnapping in the interim.
Police spokesperson, DSP ToochukwuIkenga said the incident happened around 11:30 pm last night.
“CP AderemiAdeoye has ordered that operatives go after his abductors and ensure his release,” he said.
