Guinness marks 100th birthday of Mama Christiana, Nigeria’s oldest fan
Mama Christiana Atoke Egberongbe, a 100-year-old Nigerian woman and devoted Guinness fan, recently celebrated her centenary with family, faith, and her favorite drink, Guinness.
Born in 1925 in Ajegunle Village, Ogun State, Mama Christy built a legacy as a respected food vendor in Lagos.
Despite her age, one thing hasn’t changed: her love for Guinness.
To honor her 100th birthday on July 24th, Guinness Nigeria sent her a special birthday package that included a cake, branded merchandise, and a selection of drinks.
The celebration continued on July 26th with family and friends. There were prayers, smiles, and plenty of joy capped off with a cold bottle of Guinness in her hand.
