Grammy Awards: Odumeje sends powerful message to Davido following Grammy loss
Renowned cleric and Anambra-based pastor, Odumeje, has sent a heartfelt message to Nigerian singer Davido following his recent loss at the Grammy Awards.
It would be recalled that Davido, along with other Nigerian musicians had lost out on the 2026 Grammy Awards after their nominations.
Speaking about the international accolade, Odumeje reminded the Afrobeat star of his already remarkable achievements.
He emphasized that the life Davido lives is already an award of its own.
According to him, the love the fans have for Davido supersedes the Grammy Awards, emphasizing that it is not the award that made them know the singer.

“Davido, you’re already a generational award awarded with a lot of award. There’s no award that you will receive now that means anything. You have already awarded any award you need. Your life, your steps are awards. Don’t allow any ordinary iron to quench the fire of your joy. What is Grammy, who knows the Grammy. Who Grammy help? Grammy didn’t make us to know Davido. We know you as a good singer and that is why we love you.”
