Graham Potter in contention for both Napoli, Manchester United Jobs

Sir Jim Ratcliffe's associate, Sir Dave Brailsford, a key figure in the Manchester United takeover talks, is a known fan of Potter and had previously sought his services for French side Nice.

Graham Potter is being considered for Napoli’s coaching role, but is also in contention for a potential call from Manchester United.

Serie A champions Napoli are interested in Potter as they search for a new head coach, with Antonio Conte also being considered, even after his insistence on family time in a recent interview.

Potter is famous in Italy due to his previous work at Brighton, despite his brief and challenging stint at Chelsea.

However, The Sun UK has reported that Potter is also on Manchester United’s radar, should current manager Erik ten Hag be relieved of his duties when Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s ownership consortium, Ineos, takes over.

The UK Sports platform reported that Ratcliffe’s associate, Sir Dave Brailsford, a key figure in the takeover talks, is a known fan of Potter and had sought his services for French side Nice.

Jim Ratcliffe, Britain’s richest man and Ineos owner, has agreed to a £1.35 billion deal for a 25% share of Manchester United.

Although the takeover has experienced recent delays, it is still hoped that it will be finalized in time for the January transfer window.

However, Potter’s potential arrival at Manchester United would be considered a gamble due to his underperformance at Chelsea.
