Goya Menor Biography

On May 4, 1995, Mr. and Mrs. Menor’s Southern family welcomed Goya Menor Bright into the world. He is from Nigeria’s South-South area, namely Edo State. He was born and raised in Ekpoma City, Edo State.
He comes from a Christian family, which has helped shape him into a guy with strong morals and kept him from joining gangs as a child, as many young men his age do.
Goya Menor was exposed to the opulent Nigerian music scene at a young age, spending hours listening to Nigerian artists’ songs on the radio and television. As a result, he became familiar with the sounds of hip-hop, Afrobeats, Afropop, and R&B. He also listened to tracks by American artists, which is where his passion for rap began.
Goya Menor progressed from rhyming all the verses of his favorite rap songs to writing his rap lyrics and performing them at school functions, where his classmates cheered him on. Being a member of his church choir also helped him enhance his vocal skills. So his parents were not astonished when he told them that he wanted to do music professionally.
The Menors ensured that their children received a good education, and Goya Menor was no exception. He had his early education at reputable primary and high schools in Edo State.
After clearing his final examinations, he enrolled to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma for Sociology and was admitted. He received his Bachelor’s degree after completing the required four years of coursework.
