Governor Umo Eno gifts blind gospel singer a house, land, ₦100 million studio and more

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has made a remarkable gesture by gifting talented visually impaired gospel singer, Chris Vic a package that promises to transform his life and career.
Known for his inspiring praise & worship videos that have touched hearts across Nigeria, Chris Vic is now set to receive support that recognizes both his talent and resilience.
In a heartwarming announcement shared on his X (formerly Twitter), the Governor revealed that he has directed the Commissioner for Lands to immediately allocate a plot of land in Uyo to Chris Vic.
He also confirmed that he will personally sign the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) for the singer next week, solidifying his ownership.
But the support does not stop there, Governor Eno also pledged to build a fully furnished four-bedroom flat for Chris Vic and provide ₦100 million to help him establish a world-class music studio, a dream the singer has long held.
This funding is separate from the cost of the land and home, emphasizing the Governor’s commitment to nurturing his talent.
Additionally, the Governor announced that Chris Vic will receive a monthly allowance of ₦1 million for as long as he remains in office, ensuring continued support for his welfare and creative work.
According to Eno, this gesture is a reminder that even in challenging times, “God is still good,” and that Chris Vic exemplifies the power of praise, resilience, and faith.
The Governor also used the occasion to reassure persons with disabilities that his administration sees them, values them, and is dedicated to supporting their dreams and wellbeing.
