“Mr President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, fuel na ₦1,500. Seyi Tinubu, tell your father that fuel is ₦1,500. From ₦200 in the last administration to ₦1,500. Then, when election is approaching, things become easy. NEPA will bring steady light, money will be flowing, fuel prices will reduce. They try to please the people,” he said.

Xxssive argued that Nigerians expect things to become easier simply because another election is approaching, warning that the rising hardship cannot be ignored.

He also questioned why petrol remains expensive despite Nigeria’s oil production and refinery operations, while expressing frustration over Nigerians’ silence.

“Election is coming and things are getting harder, it won’t work. If no be say all of us mumu as a people, like next week Monday we don’t need to go out and do protest.

Everybody will just sit at home, and nobody will go to work. Because I’m yet to understand this madness, despite the fact that we have oil, and we’re now producing, our refinery is working, we’re now still buying fuel at ₦1,500,” he added.

His comments have sparked reactions online, with Nigerians sharing different views about petrol prices and the economic pressure facing citizens.

Xxssive further questioned why Nigerians continue buying petrol as the price rises, insisting that the situation affects everyone, regardless of their financial status.
