“Forgive them, but don’t bring them close again” — Lady lists two friends to avoid
A lady has stirred conversation online after sharing her thoughts on friendships, forgiveness, and boundaries from a Christian perspective.
While stressing that she believes strongly in forgiveness, she clarified that forgiving someone does not always mean allowing them back into one’s inner circle.
According to her, some friendships, once broken in certain ways, should be released completely for peace of mind.

She identified the first type of friend to be cautious of as someone who becomes close to people who have deeply hurt you.
“If I explain to you how someone wounded me badly and you later turn around to become best friends with that same person, that is a sign to let you go,” she said.
She added that such friends often return with gossip about the person, which she described as insincere and unhealthy.
The second category, which she described as the most dangerous, involves friends who betray confidence, especially concerning family matters.
“Family issues are sacred,” she said, explaining that confiding in a friend about personal family struggles should never result in that information being taken to the very people involved in the conflict.
She warned that while families often reconcile, the friend who shared those details usually becomes exposed and untrustworthy.
Concluding her message, the lady advised that forgiveness should not be confused with access.
“Forgive them, but let them be on their own,” she said, adding that peace sometimes comes from distance, not reconciliation.
