Filmmaker, Ayo Shonaiya apologizes for slut-shaming BBNaija’s Erica
Filmmaker, Ayo Shonaiya has apologized for slut-shaming and making derogatory remarks about BBNaija ‘Lockdown’ housemate, Erica.
Housemates, Erica and son of Nigerian billionaire, Kiddwaya have been in a relationship since the Lockdown edition kicked off.
While many viewers hope their relationship waxes stronger, Shonaiya took to his Twitter account to literary classify Erica as a gold-digger who prefers wealth to love and may likely ditch Kiddwaya for his dad after the show.
In his words…. “The way I see this Erica, when they get out and Kiddwaya introduces her to his dad, she might end up with the dad at some point. There are some girls like that. Nothing new under the sun.”
This attracted heated and mixed reactions, with viewers especially fans of Erica and KiddRica shippers dragging him on the streets of social media.
Shonaiya quickly deleted his tweet, and now says he is sorry for what he said about Erica.
He tweeted… “Saturday night I posted an insensitive tweet about #EricaBBNaija that I quickly regretted & deleted after like 4mins. But ofcos concerned citizens had munched it & posted on blogs. Apologies to whomever it may have offended. This was NOT my intention.”
