Fernandez nets late winner as Chelsea stun West Ham

Chelsea produced a dramatic late turnaround to beat West Ham United 3-2 at Stamford Bridge, coming from two goals down to claim all three points and move up to fourth in the Premier League table.
The visitors made a fast start and took the lead inside seven minutes when Jarrod Bowen’s cross from the right skipped across the box and bounced beyond goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
Chelsea struggled to respond before the break and were punished again just before half-time as Crysencio Summerville finished clinically to double West Ham’s advantage.
West Ham seize early control
Bowen’s early delivery set the tone for West Ham’s aggressive opening, with the Hammers capitalising on Chelsea’s slow start.

Summerville’s goal just before the interval compounded the hosts’ problems and left Chelsea facing a significant deficit at the break.
Chelsea respond after the break
Chelsea emerged with greater urgency after half-time and pulled one back through Joao Pedro, whose goal reignited the contest.
Sustained pressure followed, and the equaliser arrived when Marc Cucurella bundled the ball home from close range, shifting momentum firmly in the home side’s favour.
Fernandez completes the comeback
With West Ham increasingly pinned back, Chelsea pushed for a winner and were rewarded deep into stoppage time.
In the 92nd minute, Enzo Fernandez arrived in the box to score the decisive goal, completing the comeback and sealing a crucial victory.
The result lifts Chelsea into the top four and strengthens their Champions League ambitions.
West Ham remain in the relegation zone, having surrendered a two-goal lead in a damaging defeat that heightens pressure as the season progresses.
