Fani-Kayode breaks silence on being rejected as Nigeria’s ambassador to Germany

Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has dismissed claims that Germany rejected him for an ambassadorial role, describing the reports as false.
This comes after The Gazette released an exclusive report alleging that Germany had rejected his appointment to serve as an ambassador.

In a post shared on his X account, he characterized the story as “fake news,” alleging that it was being circulated by opposition figures displeased with his appointment.
He further affirmed his commitment to continue serving the country despite the controversy.
His words …
“Fake news everywhere.
“These opposition elements are so pained by my appointment and they are doing everything to discredit me and scuttle it.
“Whether they like it or not I will serve my country! Keep crying!”
