“Faculty of Music and Arts” – Davido launches new course at International University of East Africa in Kampala, Uganda
Nigerian singer and songwriter David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has launched a new course, the ‘Faculty of Music and Arts,’ at the International University of East Africa in Kampala, Uganda.
Additionally, a hall named ‘Davido Hall’ has been dedicated to him at the university. This announcement has been widely shared on social media by his well-wishers.
In the accompanying clips, the singer can be seen receiving an award with his name ‘Davido’ clearly inscribed on it, along with the word ‘Hall’ below, indicating the naming of the newly built hall after him.
During the ceremony, Davido also inaugurated the new course at the university, cutting the ribbon attached to the board bearing the name “Faculty of Music and Arts.”
