“Everyone deserves a second chance” – VeryDarkMan throws support for Yahaya Bello ahead of senatorial race against Natasha
Social media commentator, VeryDarkMan has publicly expressed his support for Yahaya Bello as the former Kogi State Governor prepares to contest for the Kogi Central Senate seat against Senator Natasha Akpoti.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, VDM highlighted Bello’s growth as a leader despite past controversies and accusations, including scrutiny from the EFCC. He wrote:
“In light of what happened in the past, the controversy, the accusations by the EFCC, and criticisms from some Nigerians, I see a true leader who has worked on his flaws and, over time, has become a better man. Everybody deserves a second chance.”
He went on to emphasise why he believes Bello is the best choice for the Kogi Central senatorial seat, saying that he deserves a second chance to show Nigerians the good in him.
He further explained that this is why he is standing firmly with Bello as he contests the Kogi Central Senate seat against Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who, in his view, lacks the experience and qualifications of a leader.
According to him, her approach to politics is overly sentimental, and he claimed that a woman like her should be at home taking care of the children and cooking for her husband.
VeryDarkMan concluded his statement with fervent support for Bello’s campaign,
“GOD BLESS YAHAYA BELLO, INCOMING 2027! SAI YAHAYA BELLO, SAI 2027!”
The endorsement has sparked reactions online, with supporters praising Bello’s track record and critics questioning the remarks about his opponent.
