EPL: Richarlison rescues late point for Tottenham against Liverpool

Richarlison scored a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser as Tottenham Hotspur held Liverpool to a 1-1 draw at Anfield, handing interim manager Igor Tudor his first point in charge.
Spurs had looked destined for another defeat after Dominik Szoboszlai put Liverpool ahead in the first half.
However, Richarlison struck in the 90th minute to earn a valuable point for the visitors, who showed resilience despite a depleted squad.
Szoboszlai free-kick puts Liverpool ahead
Liverpool opened the scoring in the 18th minute through Szoboszlai, whose free-kick slipped past Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.

The Italian shot-stopper, starting ahead of Antonin Kinsky after a difficult outing in midweek, appeared poorly positioned and failed to keep the effort out despite getting a hand to the ball.
The home side were encouraged by the breakthrough, especially after manager Arne Slot made the bold decision to leave Mohamed Salah on the bench.
Instead, 17-year-old Rio Ngumoha was handed his first Premier League start, repaying the faith with an energetic display.
Richarlison seals late equaliser
Despite trailing, Spurs continued to push forward with Richarlison leading the line. The Brazilian forward caused problems throughout the match, forcing several saves from Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
His persistence paid off in the final minute when he latched onto a pass from Randal Kolo Muani and fired home to silence the Anfield crowd.
The equaliser denied Liverpool the chance to strengthen their push for a top-four finish and delivered a morale boost for Tottenham, who had arrived at Anfield under pressure following a heavy midweek defeat to Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.
For Spurs, the late goal ended a six-game losing run in all competitions and provided a much-needed sign of progress under Tudor despite their long injury list.
