EPL: Iwobi reveals Fulham’s target for new campaign

Nigeria midfielder Alex Iwobi has revealed Fulham’s target for the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, as they face Brighton in their opener on Saturday.

Iwobi says Fulham are determined to secure European football by the end of the season.

The Cottagers fell short last term despite recording their highest-ever points tally in the top flight.

They also saw their FA Cup campaign end in the quarter-finals against eventual winners Crystal Palace.

Iwobi, who previously featured in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League with Arsenal, expressed his ambition to return to continental competition with Marco Silva’s side.

“Everyone wants to play in Europe. I have played in Europe before – I want a taste of it again,” Iwobi told Standard Sport.
