Elon Musk says he looks up to “The creator,” shares views on God and spirituality

Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has shared his thoughts on faith and spirituality, offering insight into how he perceives the origin of the universe.
In a recent interview with Katie Miller, Musk was asked who he looks up to the most, and he replied simply: “The Creator.”
Musk acknowledges a creative force behind the Universe
When questioned about his belief in God, Musk said: “Well, I believe this universe came from something,” adding that “people have different labels.”
His response reflects a philosophical perspective, acknowledging a creative force behind existence while avoiding alignment with any single religious tradition.
Musk, who was baptized and raised Anglican, has previously described himself as a “cultural Christian,” highlighting the moral lessons he values from religion, such as compassion and restraint.
Balancing science, Philosophy, and Spirituality
Yet he consistently emphasises curiosity, exploration, and expanding human understanding over conventional faith.
By choosing the term “the Creator” rather than “God,” Musk signals openness to diverse spiritual or philosophical interpretations of the universe’s origin.
His remarks have reignited conversations about the intersection of science, technology, and spirituality, showing how influential thinkers grapple with questions of existence and purpose in the modern era.
