Dreka Gates files for divorce nearly 10 years of marriage

Dreka Gates has filed for divorce from renowned rapper, Kevin Gates, nearly 10 years of marriage.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, she filed the petition on July 30, 2025, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

The filing states July 10, 2025, as the date of separation.

Dreka is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their two children, Islah and Khaza.

She is requesting spousal support,while also asking the court to terminate its ability to award support to Kevin.

Recall that Kevin Gates and Dreka Gates tied the knot on October 17, 2015, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
