Dortmund re-enter race for Jadon Sancho

Borussia Dortmund are considering a return for Jadon Sancho, with internal talks underway to secure a permanent transfer from Manchester United, according to Sky Sport Germany.
The Bundesliga side are reportedly weighing a €18–20 million offer to bring the 25-year-old winger back to Signal Iduna Park for a third stint.
Sancho, who was sidelined at United following a public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag, spent the latter half of the 2023–24 season on loan at Dortmund, helping the club reach the UEFA Champions League final.
Sancho has since returned to Old Trafford, but remains part of United’s transfer list, training separately from the first-team squad.
Chelsea, who had him on loan last season, opted out of a permanent move after failing to agree personal terms, while Juventus have paused interest due to financial constraints.
Sancho’s record at Dortmund remains impressive, 109 goal contributions in 125 games during his initial three-year spell.
Despite financial caution this summer, Dortmund’s Champions League qualification and player sales have bolstered their budget.
However, wage demands could be a stumbling block. Manchester United reportedly covered half of Sancho’s salary during his last loan, and any permanent deal would likely require the England international to accept a significant pay cut.
