“Don’t give me credit for what I didn’t do” – Peruzzi debunks writing song for Burna Boy

Rumours began to circulate that Nigerian singer-songwriter Peruzzi had composed songsfor the Afrobeat king, Burna Boy.

In an interview with one of his supporters, who had claimed to be the author of Burna’s well-known song, he was criticised for allegedly collaborating with other songwriters while his fans praised his command of language.

The fan threatened to stop Peruzzi from writing songs for Burna Boy and accused him of routinely stealing songs from other musicians.

Peruzzi responded quickly to refute these allegations, insisting that he was not involved in writing any of Burna Boy’s catchy songs.
