Donnarumma set for Premier League move after PSG squad omission

Gianluigi Donnarumma is now set to leave Paris Saint-Germain following his exclusion from the squad to face Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup.

The decision is now reportedly viewed by the player’s camp as “unfair,” with relationship between player and club said to be “completely broken,” according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Premier League is seen as the most likely destination for the Italian goalkeeper, either in the current transfer window or upon the expiry of his contract in June 2026.

Previous reports from Marc Mechouana indicated that Manchester United and Chelsea had made enquiries about the 25-year-old, after PSG secured Lille’s Lucas Chevalier on a five-year deal.

Contract renewal talks between Donnarumma and PSG had stalled before his omission, creating room for Chevalier, now expected to become the club’s first-choice goalkeeper next season.
