Done deal: Details of Osimhen’s €75m permanent transfer to Galatasaray

Galatasaray have finalized the permanent signing of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli, following a prolific loan spell in Istanbul during the 2024/25 season.
According to Football Italia, both clubs have reached a full agreement after weeks of protracted negotiations regarding the payment structure of Osimhen’s €75 million release clause.
Galatasaray will now pay the full amount by the end of 2026.
The deal will see Napoli receive €40 million upfront, with the remaining €35 million due in structured installments over the next two years.
The Italian club will also be entitled to an additional €5 million in performance-related bonuses and retain a 10% sell-on clause.
Crucially, the agreement includes an ‘anti-Serie A clause’ preventing Osimhen from transferring to a Serie A rival within the next 24 months.
Osimhen’s switch to Galatasaray comes after a stunning individual campaign in which he scored 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.
The 25-year-old becomes one of the most expensive signings in Turkish football history and is expected to lead the club’s charge in both domestic and European competitions in the upcoming season.
