De Gea to remain at Fiorentina despite Man United links

Fiorentina goalkeeper David De Gea is expected to remain in Tuscany despite reports from England suggesting Manchester United were considering a surprise move to re-sign him.
SunSport had claimed United were weighing up a return for the 34-year-old Spaniard, who left Old Trafford as a free agent two years ago, with current first-choice Andre Onana yet to convince.
De Gea, however, enjoyed a standout campaign in Serie A last season, making 42 appearances in all competitions and earning a nomination for goalkeeper of the year.
His form led Fiorentina to hand him a contract extension running until 2028.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the three-time Manchester United player of the year has no plans to leave after just one season.
He is said to be settled playing for there Italian side.
