“Davido please talk to your dad” — Adeleke University students allegedly decry poor living conditions

Some individuals claiming to be students of Adeleke University have raised concerns about the living and learning conditions at the institution, despite the high tuition fees reportedly paid each year.
In a video circulating online, the complainant alleged that students pay nothing less than ₦2.5 million annually but still face serious challenges on campus.
“Adeleke University with suffering and smiling. They pay nothing less than 2.5 million per year to be constantly treated like animals,” the message read, expressing frustration over the alleged situation at the private university.
Allegations of poor facilities
The complainant further claimed that basic amenities such as water and electricity are not consistently available, making it difficult for students to attend classes and carry out daily activities.
The message also alleged that the school’s food services and medical facilities are inadequate for students who rely on the institution for their welfare.
“Students can’t make it to class because something as simple as water, light, they can’t provide for them. Their food and medical system is bad,” the complainant stated, describing what they believe are ongoing challenges faced by students on campus.
Call for intervention
The individual also claimed that many students are afraid to speak publicly about the issues for fear of disciplinary action.
According to the message, there is concern among some students that raising complaints openly could lead to expulsion.
“Every student is so scared to speak out because they expel them the moment they do,” the message alleged, before appealing to Nigerian singer Davido to intervene by bringing the concerns to the attention of his father, Adedeji Adeleke, the founder of the university. “Davido please talk to your dad,” the message concluded.
