The daredevil born again season 2 is based on Marvel Comics and features the character Daredevil. It features blind vigilante Matt Murdock / Daredevil assembling friends to oppose Wilson Fisk, the mayor of New York City, and his Anti-Vigilante Task Force.
Born Again, set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and sharing continuity with the franchise’s films and television series, is a revival and continuation of Marvel Television and Netflix’s Daredevil (2015-2018).
Marvel Studios produced the season under its own Marvel Television imprint, with showrunner Dario Scardapane and primary directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Release Dates
The Daredevil Born Again Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on Tuesday, March 24 at 6pm PT/9pm ET, and in the UK on Wednesday, March 25 at 1am GMT. It will then release fresh episodes weekly until the finale on May 12. Season 2 has eight episodes, while season 1 had nine.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Story and Season 1 Recap
In the first season of Daredevil: Born Again, we caught up with blind lawyer Matt Murdock years after he left vigilantism behind to focus on his legal work. However, as New York’s crime situation deteriorated and his best friend Foggy Nelson died, Matt reluctantly returned to dishing out justice on the streets of Hell’s Kitchen.
Bullseye and The Punisher also returned, but it was Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, who proved to be the most difficult to control after becoming New York’s elected mayor. Fisk used his new authority to establish martial law in an attempt to permanently eliminate masked heroes. This compelled an injured Matt to reclaim his Daredevil persona, even as he was thrown underground with the rest of the city’s vigilantes.
In season two, Daredevil will have to rally grassroots opposition to Fisk’s new “Safer Streets Initiative.” Fortunately, fellow superpowered Defender Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is back to help him out, but the new season will also look at how Fisk deals with being at the top of his game.
“What does it mean for Fisk when he’s gotten everything he wants?” Sana Amanat, the producer, mused in an Empire interview. “Is it enough to provide the most valuable wealth to a person whose thirst cannot be quenched? Or is he squeezing his treasure too hard?
Daredevil Born Again Season 2’s New Characters
Daredevil Born Again Season 2: Introduction of Scream star Matthew Lillard and The Conjuring actress Lili Taylor.
Lillard’s mysterious figure is known as Mr. Charles. He’s a powerful man who opposes Fisk politically and is unimpressed by him because his primary concentration is on geopolitical chess plays.
It will be entertaining to watch these two battle head-to-head! Meanwhile, Taylor is facing another Fisk opponent, this time at the municipal level as the governor of New York.
As previously stated, Krysten Ritter reprises her role as Jessica Jones, a former vigilante who has joined Disney Plus Daredevil’s side despite preferring to work alone owing to the enormous personal threat that Fisk poses to her.
