Customs unveils official recruitment process for candidates

The Nigeria Customs Service has launched a recruitment website for shortlisted 2025 candidates to complete a final screening update, with a deadline of May 10, 2026.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the service stated that only candidates who have completed previous rounds of the recruitment process are qualified to participate in the current phase.
According to the announcement, applicants must visit the official website and complete a form to update their personal profiles before the final interview and physical screening.
The NCS emphasised that the activity is required for shortlisted candidates, and warned that failing to comply within the timeframe specified could jeopardise their eligibility for final selection.
“In continuation of the selection process leading to the final stage of the 2025 Recruitment Exercise, candidates who were successful in the previous phases are required to visit the NCS Recruitment Portal to complete a designated form,” the statement stated.
It said that the portal will be open until 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2026. The Service also stated that the recruitment procedure is fully free of charge, warning applicants to avoid bogus individuals or messages asking for cash in exchange for employment.
It said, “The recruitment exercise is strictly free of charge, and all official communication will only be conducted through verified channels.”
To further aid candidates, the NCS provides specialised help desk contacts as well as official social media sites for enquiries and verification.
It advised all shortlisted applicants to complete the update by the deadline to risk being excluded from the final phases of the recruitment process.
