Crew confirms death of Junior Pope, blames poor health facility

A crew member confirms the untimely demise of the Nollywood actor, Junior Pope after being rushed to a hospital following a boat mishap in Asaba.

Reports of the actor’s death caused a stir on social media after he drowned in a boat accident alongside three others.

However, Junior Pope was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed to be alive by the AGN President, Emeka Rollas in a now-deleted post on Instagram.

According to the late actor’s crew member, Stanley Ontop in a live IG session, the late actor was moved from the mortuary after being revived and rushed to the riverside for ritual cleansing.

He mentioned that the hospital Junior Pope was rushed to had no oxygen supply for his immediate treatment and he was declared dead by the doctor.

Confirming Pope’s death, he wrote in an Instagram post, “JNR Pope is finally gone.”
