A clash broke out between police officers and some youths at Upper Sokponba in Benin City, Edo State, after the youths accused a police officer of secretly putting tramadol in a young man’s pocket without his knowledge.

In a viral video on social media, Nigerian police officer is said to have placed tramadol in a man’s pocket, which led to a serious clash.

The video showed a man in police uniform being dragged by some youths as a voice behind the scene said, “he put tramadol for him pocket… See police officer, he put tramadol for innocent boy pocket.”

As the noise grew louder, some men were seen holding and dragging the said police officer.
