Chukwueze jokes about London cold, blames Iwobi

Samuel Chukwueze has shared a light-hearted moment with Super Eagles teammate Alex Iwobi, joking that the Fulham midfielder failed to warn him about London’s cold weather before encouraging his loan move to the club.
Recall Chukwueze joined Fulham on loan from AC Milan during the summer after conversations involving Iwobi and head coach Marco Silva.
Iwobi had previously confirmed that Silva sought his opinion on the winger, and he strongly backed the move.
Since arriving, the 26-year-old has settled quickly into the squad and made a strong on-field impression.

He has recorded three goals and four assists in 10 Premier League appearances, including a decisive goal in Fulham’s 2-1 comeback win over Brighton at the weekend.
His form has already sparked discussions about a possible permanent transfer at the end of the season.
Dressing-room chemistry and weather jokes
Despite his positive adaptation on the pitch, Chukwueze admitted he is still adjusting to London’s winter conditions, with temperatures dropping to around four degrees.
Speaking in Iwobi’s matchday vlog, the winger jokingly accused his teammate of withholding key information.
“Alex, the best thing you told me to do in this life was to come to this club,” Chukwueze said. “The worst thing you did was that you never told me it was this cold.”
Iwobi responded with a laugh: “I can’t keep you happy, bro.”
Chukwueze replied: “This time around, just keep yourself happy.”
Positive signs for club and country
The exchange highlighted the relaxed atmosphere within the Fulham camp and the strong relationship between the two Nigeria internationals.
With Chukwueze contributing consistently and enjoying life at the club despite the weather, Fulham appear well positioned to benefit from his presence for the remainder of the season.
