“Cheating is not a deal breaker” – Feminist sparks debate with marriage take

A Nigerian feminist has sparked debate online after stating that cheating is not necessarily a deal breaker in marriage, especially in long-standing unions.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @moe4dem, she explained that her view is based on the belief that some men are naturally polygamous.
In her words, she said:
“I’m a feminist and I don’t believe cheating is a deal breaker in marriage. Hear me out before you scroll. I genuinely believe some men are naturally polygamous in nature.”
Using a scenario, she added that if her husband of five years or more were involved with another woman, she would choose acceptance rather than separation.
Her decision, she explained, would be guided by key responsibilities such as caring for her children and protecting the honour and social standing of her family.
“I would think about the children first. I would think about the honour and social standing of my family.
I would think about the future, the goals, and God’s word. I would then leave the cheating aside and focus on taking care of my children,” she added.
Her statement has triggered mixed reactions online, with some praising her honesty, while others insist that cheating should never be tolerated under any circumstances.
