Captain Smart Biography Age
He was born on May 5, 1975, in a tiny hamlet in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The award-winning broadcaster completed his basic and junior high school education in a government school in his hometown before enrolling in Apam SHS in the Central Region for secondary education.
After passing the SSCE with flying colors, Captain Smart relocated to the capital to pursue his passion for radio by enrolling in one of the top journalistic schools. After two years of journalism and a diploma in mass communications, Captain Smart advanced his education by enrolling in a degree program at Garden City University.

Professional Career
The eternally remarkable Captain Smart began his impressive journalism career with Fox FM in Kumasi. He went on to work for OTEC FM and Kesewa Radio before joining Multimedia Network’s Nhyira FM.
His career and exploits at Nhyira FM were so good that he was the natural successor to Adakabre, the then-famous Adom FM personality, once the latter left.
Captain Smart’s quickness and experience quickly made an impression on Accra’s airwaves, and he has since established himself as one of Ghana’s best radio journalists and Morning Show hosts.
He joined Angel FM following a successful decade at Multimedia, when he resigned due to his controversial character in criticizing politicians in the country, for which he was suspended. He currently hosts the morning show on Media General’s ONUA TV.

Captain Smart has received more than 20 honors. On August 29, 2020, the ‘King of Morning Shows’ was honored at the Foklex Media Awards in Accra as the best Morning Show presenter in the Greater Accra Region.
